pilgrims can hold on to the feeling of their visit to Ise Grand Shrine while enjoying a pleasant stay.
The keynote of our hotel is dignified pure Japanese architecture to which we have added modern comforts. In this refined atmosphere, you can spend quiet moments.
Inside the hotel we have preserved this ancient land. You can experience the variety of culture in Mie starting with Ise Grand Shrine and including traditional crafts such as Ise Style Cut Paper and Ise Cotton. We look at every detail to make this a hotel you can only find in this area. You will also notice that only in the Ise area are Shinto wreaths hung over doors all year round as amulets.
Enjoy the bounty of our gourmet paradise
to your heart’s content.
Enjoy to your heart’s content dishes filled with the bounty of the oceans and mountains of Ise Shima.
At Teppanyaki Kiyoishi, we cook carefully selected local ingredients such as spiny lobster and Matsusaka beef before your very eyes. Get your fill of splendid dishes done to perfection by our chefs. We not only use local ingredients, but also specially chosen pottery to enhance the flavor of the food even more.
Because Kiyoishi is by reservation only, the chefs serve only a small number of guests so they can dine together in an enjoyable and genial way. The tatami seats with openings for guest’s legs let them unwind while steeped in a modern Japanese atmosphere.
Starting with spiny lobster and abalone, with the changing seasons we carefully select the most suitable local foods. Here we use foods you can only eat at that particular time of year so you can enjoy to your heart’s content the bounty of the four seasons. Our chefs go out to choose the ingredients themselves, bring out the best of those select foods and confindently present them to our guests. All of our tables are in semi-private rooms to create a calm atmosphere for our guests to spend an elegant time with people who are important. We also time the serving of the dishes to perfection so they can be enjoyed at just the right moment.
